Review:
Fallen Star was the very
first book that I read by Jessica Sorensen.
From the moment I put that book down, until I finished the series, that
book has lived in the back of my mind.
So when I heard that she was re-doing the series in New Adult fashion, I
was excited! I couldn’t wait to see how she would make it happen.
She NAILED it. Let me just say that. The heat between Gemma
and Alex was indescribable. It felt as
if these characters were meant to be this age, not the original high school
age. The chemistry that existed in the
first book was amplified by a million little sexy gnomes. Yes, I said gnomes. They’re on the brain today.
The other characters were
even better than before as well! It was as if this world was finally
complete. I have to say that this author
sure knows how to bring the heat, but she also kept the story true to the
original. That’s a hard thing to do,
especially when you’re moving from Young Adult to something steamier. Well done! I can’t wait to read the second
book!
