Review:

Eden Connor’s Soft Sounds of Pleasure is smoking hot!  Like must take a cold shower multiple times hot!  When I sat down to read her book recently I was wondering how this story would play out.  But, pretty quickly I found out that while she might have written an erotic tale, it was also a heart-wrenching one as well. 

          The story revolves around the developing relationship between Lila and Colton, who are separated by age and life experiences.  Lila lost her husband tragically and a year later is still struggling to deal with the loss.  Colton has just taken over custody of his nephew whose mother was killed just as tragically.  Between Lila and Jonah, Colton has a lot on his plate. 

          Somehow the three of them bond over baseball of all things, as Lila’s grown son used to play and Jonah wants to play now.  Colton, much like myself, does not understand baseball, and it is only through Lila’s help that he begins to see the finer points to the game. 

          The story plays out in way that I didn’t see coming, but I was riveted, desperately trying to figure out how all of this would end.  But, I am not going to tell you what happens, because you need to buy the book and find out for yourself.  Just keep in mind, you really might need that shower, or better yet, a soak in a tub of ice to cool down afterwards!  Happy Reading everyone!
